Among the recipients were the Bintangor Farmers’ Association, Bintangor Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Meradong Basketball Club, Bintangor Firefighters Sports & Welfare Club, Meradong Foochow Association, along with several Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK) from rural areas such as Sungai Tulai, Rumah Badi, Rumah Adiah, and Rumah Dipa Sungai Lemayong.

According to Dato’ Sri Huang, both the MRP and the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) are key government efforts aimed at enhancing the quality of life for rural communities through the provision and upgrading of basic infrastructure and public amenities.

“Much progress has been achieved through these allocations—from road upgrades to drainage maintenance, and the development of essential public facilities in remote areas,” he said during his address.
