<strong>Tragic Incident in Desa Lasi</strong>

IPOH (30 MAY): In a tragic incident on Wednesday night, a 71-year-old man was found burnt to death in a car fire at Laluan Sri Kuang 3, Desa Lasi. The fire, which engulfed nearly the entire vehicle, led to a devastating outcome, leaving the community in shock.

<strong>Quick Response by Fire Department</strong>

The Perak Fire and Rescue Department swiftly responded to the emergency call received at 11:46 PM. According to Assistant Operations Director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, a fire engine along with eight firefighters reached the scene within ten minutes.

<strong>Firefighting Efforts</strong>

Upon arrival, the firefighters encountered a vehicle that was approximately 90% engulfed in flames. Despite their prompt and vigorous efforts, the team discovered a charred body inside the vehicle. The operation to extinguish the fire and secure the area concluded at 2 AM.

“Our team worked diligently to control and extinguish the fire, but unfortunately, we found a charred body inside the vehicle,” stated Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad in his report.

<strong>Investigation Ongoing</strong>

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire. Further details will be released as they become available. The incident has left the local community grieving the loss of the elderly man, whose identity has not yet been disclosed.

Residents of Desa Lasi expressed their shock and sorrow over the tragic event. The loss of a community member in such a horrific manner has cast a somber mood over the area.
