Kuching, 18 February 2025 – In a key meeting this morning, His Excellency the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi Bin Tuanku Jaafar, along with His Excellency Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Binti Mohd. Sanusi, welcomed senior representatives from Affin Bank Berhad for a breakfast session held at a prominent hotel in Kuching.

The meeting saw the presence of YBhg. Dato’ Agil Natt, Chairman of Affin Bank Berhad, and his wife, Datin Sharifah Fatmah Alhabshi. They were joined by Affin Bank’s President and Group Chief Executive Officer (PGCEO), YBhg. Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah, and his wife, Datin Wan Deneena Liza, along with other key executives from the bank, including Mr. Mohammad Fairuz Mohd Radi, Executive Director of Community Banking, Mr. Victor Liew Wui Tak, Director of Sarawak Banking, and Mr. Isman Ariffin, Managing Director at the Office of the PGCEO.

During the breakfast session, TYT Tun Pehin Sri expressed his gratitude for Affin Group’s continued commitment to supporting Sarawak’s economic development. He particularly emphasized the importance of a strong and collaborative relationship between the banking sector and the state government to foster inclusive growth. “Close collaboration between the banking sector and the state government is crucial to ensure that Sarawak’s economic development continues to thrive and benefit the people,” said the Yang di-Pertua Negeri.
