Meanwhile, BDA’s delegation included YBhg. Dato Haidar Khan, YBhg. Datu Muhamad Yakup (BDA General Manager), and Encik Wan Ibrahim bin Wan Ali (BDA Secretary). The General Manager of Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak, YBhg. Datu Haji Abg Mohd Shibli bin Haji Abg Mohd Nailie, was also present at the event.

This zakat contribution signifies BDA and BPHB’s strong commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and their role in strengthening the strategic collaboration between the corporate sector and religious institutions. The financial support provided through zakat is expected to benefit the asnaf community, particularly those in need within Sarawak.

Through continued cooperation with Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak, both corporations aim to expand welfare programs that will uplift the well-being of the local Muslim community. Their dedication to fulfilling zakat obligations also reflects their awareness of social responsibilities and their commitment to Sarawak’s socio-economic development. – Sarawakku
