One of the highlights of the event is the parachute jump by four elite Special Air Force (PASKAU) members from a height of 6,000 feet. The operation is led by Lieutenant Colonel Ahmad Syazwan Mohamed and Major Mohd Zafril from the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RUAF), using a CN235 aircraft. This reenactment holds deep historical significance, commemorating the Australian Special Unit Z’s mission during World War II in 1945. The team had parachuted into Bario 80 years ago to assist the local resistance against the Japanese forces.
