According to the spokesperson, the accident involved a Perodua Viva, which lost control and crashed into the barrier. Fortunately, the driver was able to escape the vehicle before emergency services arrived.

Firefighters quickly took action, ensuring the driver was safely handed over to the Miri Hospital ambulance team. After a thorough health check-up, it was confirmed that the man did not sustain any injuries from the crash.

The rescue operation was completed by 2:21 am, with no further issues reported.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but authorities urge all motorists to remain cautious, especially during wet weather conditions, as such incidents can happen unexpectedly.

This incident serves as a reminder of how unpredictable the roads can be, and the importance of safe driving practices to prevent accidents.
