Kuching, 2 April 2025 – The Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, and his wife, Yang Amat Berbahagia Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd. Sanusi, graced the Aidilfitri Open House 2025 organized by the Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Sarawak. The joyous occasion was held at the New DUN Building in Petra Jaya, Kuching.

The arrival of TYT Tun Pehin Sri and Toh Puan was warmly welcomed by the Speaker of the Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak, Yang Berhormat Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar, and his wife, Puan Sri Datin Amar Fatimah Mohamad Iskandar. Their presence added a touch of grandeur to the celebrations, which saw many notable figures and guests in attendance.

The event also saw the attendance of Sarawak’s Premier, YAB Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, along with his wife, the Deputy Premier, YB Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and his wife, and YB Datuk Amar Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian and his wife. Additionally, members of Sarawak’s Cabinet and invited guests joined the festivities, further enriching the celebration.

TYT Pehin Sri and Toh Puan expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak for the warm invitation and reception. They highlighted the importance of such events in fostering unity and strengthening ties among the people of Sarawak.
