Limbang APM Successfully Destroys Dangerous Insect Nest in Kampung Medait

Led by Cpl (PA) Enggu Anak Seri Pandie, the Alpha Squad, comprising four members, traveled approximately 34 kilometers to reach the site. Upon arrival, the team met with the complainant to confirm the existence of the insect nest. After conducting a thorough survey of the area, they identified a large ground hornet nest, the size of a 4×4 tire, posing a potential danger to the community.

To neutralize the threat, the squad took immediate action by carefully burning the nest and spraying it with Ridsect, a potent insecticide. This method effectively destroyed the nest, eliminating the risk of harm from the aggressive hornets. Following the successful operation, Alpha Squad conducted another survey to ensure that the area was safe before returning to the Limbang District Operations Control Center (PKOD).
