Mother’s Day Slow jog with YB Lo Brings Warmth and Smiles

Mother’s Day Slow jog with YB Lo Brings Warmth and Smiles

Batu Kitang, May 11 – This year’s Mother’s Day was marked with more than just flowers and cakes – it was filled with gentle steps, sunshine smiles, and heartfelt gratitude as families joined the “Slow Running for Love” health event organised by YB Lo of N13 Batu Kitang.

Held on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the event saw a vibrant gathering of mothers, children, and local residents dressed in yellow outfits, a warm symbol of sunflowers and unconditional love. The starting point, Pusat Khidmat ADUN N13 Batu Kitang, was filled with joy and laughter as participants of all ages came together for a slow run celebrating health, love, and family bonds.

The run wasn’t about speed—it was about presence. Every slow, steady step served as a gesture of care for the health and happiness of our beloved mothers. From supporting heart health to managing blood sugar levels, the event aimed to promote simple but powerful habits for well-being.

In a heartfelt message shared during the event, YB Lo said,
“Mothers once carried the weight of the world for us. Today, we walked beside them, building a gentle wall of health and love together.”

The event ended with cheerful group photos, light refreshments, and a sense of unity that will linger far beyond this special day. It was a reminder that sometimes, the most meaningful gifts come not from a store—but from the heart, through action.

YB Lo thanks everyone who took part in this meaningful gathering. Together, we made Mother’s Day not just memorable, but healthy and full of love.
