MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, USA — At its annual Made by Google event, the tech giant unveiled a suite of new hardware and software advancements headlined by the next-generation Pixel 10 series and the Pixel Watch 4, further cementing its deep integration of artificial intelligence across its product ecosystem.
The flagship reveal was the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro. Google highlighted that these devices will be the first to feature its fully custom-designed “Google Tensor G5” chip, a significant shift from previous co-designed processors.
Company executives promised this new silicon would deliver monumental leaps in AI performance, battery efficiency, and computational photography, enabling entirely new on-device capabilities.
Alongside the phones, Google introduced the Pixel Watch 4. The latest wearable focuses on enhanced health metrics, including a new sleep apnea detection feature and more accurate heart-rate monitoring.
The design is reported to be thinner and lighter, with improved battery life to support its new always-on display and continuous health tracking.
A central theme of the event was the evolution of “Google AI.” Demonstrations showcased a more proactive and personalized digital assistant capable of managing complex tasks across apps, summarizing information, and generating content with minimal user input.
These features are designed to work across the new Pixel portfolio, creating a seamless, AI-native experience.
Other announcements included updates to the Pixel Buds Pro with superior adaptive audio and a preview of upcoming Android features focused on privacy and cross-device functionality, underscoring Google’s vision for a deeply interconnected and intelligent device ecosystem.
