RM530,000 in RTP Projects Boost Tebedu Community Facilities

TEBEDU – Four community enhancement projects valued at a combined RM530,000 have been officially delivered to residents here under the state’s People’s Project Programme (RTP).

Tebedu State Assemblyman Dr. Simon Sinang Bada officiated the handover ceremony on Wednesday, highlighting the government’s ongoing commitment to rural development and public welfare.

The completed initiatives include upgrades to St. Augustine’s Church in Kampung Tebedu Mawang (RM80,000), the Kampung Sungan Football Field (RM200,000), the Kampung Tubih Plaman Hall (RM100,000), and the Kampung Tubih Behem Town Hall (RM150,000).

Dr. Simon emphasized that these facility improvements reflect the state administration’s dedication to elevating living standards in rural regions.

He urged community members to utilize and maintain the new infrastructures responsibly to ensure long-term benefit and village advancement.

In addition to the handover, the Assemblyman conducted a site inspection at the ongoing Kampung Krusen Siu Town Hall upgrade, a RM180,000 project managed by the Serian Public Works Department (JKR).

Currently, 10 percent complete, the project involves constructing a retaining wall to mitigate erosion and landslide risks and is scheduled for finalization by December 30, 2025.
