ASAJAYA – A serious road accident involving two vehicles at Jalan Sambir, Asajaya yesterday left eight people injured, including a pregnant woman.
The District Civil Defence Force (APM) Asajaya confirmed that they received an emergency call regarding the accident, which occurred when two vehicles collided head-on from opposite directions.
Following the call, APM’s Charlie Squad was immediately dispatched to the scene to provide first aid and assist the victims. All injured individuals, including the expectant mother, were rushed to Klinik Kesihatan Sadong Jaya for further treatment.
APM Asajaya said quick action was taken to ensure that victims received timely medical attention. The presence of their officers helped stabilise the situation before medical teams took over.
“The safety of the community is always our priority. We urge road users to remain cautious, especially when driving along narrow or busy routes like Jalan Sambir,” APM Asajaya said in a statement.
