A delegation of 10 Sarawakian entrepreneurs showcased locally produced food, beverages, and cosmetics at the state pavilion. This initiative aimed to expand international market access and foster new business connections for Sarawak’s halal-certified products.

The hybrid format of MIHAS 2025 combined physical exhibitions with virtual platforms, allowing exhibitors to present their offerings through interactive digital booths and multimedia microsites.

Organized by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Halal Development Corporation Berhad (HDC), and the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (JAKIM), this year’s edition emphasized innovation and sustainability as key drivers of halal economic growth.

Sarawak’s involvement aligns with broader efforts to position the state as a competitive player in the global halal industry, leveraging its unique products and commitment to quality standards.
