KUALA LUMPUR – A Sarawak native has successfully won the crown of Miss Cultural International Malaysia 2025 at a dazzling finale in Kuala Lumpur.

On 20 September 2025, Chanel Eve Lee was crowned at the Galaxy Banquet Hall following weeks of competition showcasing beauty, intellect and cultural heritage.

The event saw Ng Ka Sing named as first runner-up, and Jane Ong as second runner-up. The top three will now represent Malaysia at the international finals, scheduled for 8 November 2025 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu.

One of the most poignant moments of the evening came when outgoing queen Diamond Pang placed the crown on Chanel’s head, symbolising the handover of Malaysia’s cultural ambassadorship.

The programme featured a blend of cultural performances, traditional fashion segments and keynote speeches echoing the pageant’s theme of unity in diversity.
