UNIFOR Supports Sacred Heart Primary with Key Funding Boost

UNIFOR Supports Sacred Heart Primary with Key Funding Boost

KUCHING – Sacred Heart Primary School received a significant boost in its educational development as UNIFOR officially handed over a cheque during a ceremony attended by YB Dato Ir Lo Khere Chiang. The event, held at the school’s premises, highlighted continued efforts to enhance the institution’s facilities and learning environment for its students.

The cheque handover underscores a commitment from both UNIFOR and local authorities to support the growth and improvement of school infrastructure. YB Dato Ir Lo Khere Chiang expressed his satisfaction with the initiative, noting that such contributions are crucial for nurturing a positive and effective learning atmosphere. “Investing in education is investing in our future,” he said, emphasizing that improved facilities will directly benefit students’ academic experiences and overall well-being.

School representatives welcomed the support, acknowledging that the funds will be used to upgrade essential facilities, maintain a safe environment, and provide better resources for both students and teachers. These improvements are expected to enhance the quality of education and ensure that students have access to a conducive space for learning and development.

This collaboration between UNIFOR and the school reflects a wider commitment by government and community partners to strengthen educational infrastructure across Sarawak. By prioritising the welfare and development of schools, such initiatives aim to cultivate a well-rounded and supportive environment that encourages student growth and achievement.

The ceremony also served as a reminder of the ongoing need for community and corporate support in education. Initiatives like the UNIFOR contribution highlight the importance of shared responsibility in equipping the next generation with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.

As Sacred Heart Primary moves forward with these upgrades, the partnership signals a promising step towards a more modern and well-resourced educational landscape in the region.
