He was found guilty of intentionally causing harm to his 30-year-old wife from Indonesia at a longhouse in Kampung Sadir, Jalan Puncak Borneo, around 11 pm on April 27, 2024.

Magistrate Syarifah Fatimah Azura Wan Ali presided over the case and ordered the accused to serve an additional month in jail if he failed to pay the fine.

According to the facts presented in court, the incident stemmed from an argument between Losion and his wife over financial matters. Losion, dissatisfied with the RM200 given to him by his wife, demanded more money by any means necessary. His wife expressed reluctance to borrow money from neighbors due to concerns about repayment.

In a fit of rage during the argument, Losion physically assaulted his wife, punching her in the face, kicking her multiple times, and throwing a chair at her. As a result, she sustained bruises on her back and left eye.

Fearing for her safety, the victim promptly reported the incident to the police, leading to Losion’s arrest.
