MPP Clears Roadside Bushes in Taman Kwong Tiong for Safety

PADAWAN – Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) has done some bush clearing work along Jalan Taman Kwong Tiong after residents alerted the council on poor visibility of the road side.

It was raised by Resident Councillor Cr. Phang Kit Lung, who pointed out that the bushes on both sides of the road were overgrown, and it may put not only motorists but also pedestrians at risk.

In return, MPP quickly cleared away the vegetation, enabling better visibility and safer use of the road for its passersby.

The council stressed that the clearing works formed a part of its continuous efforts towards keeping the village safe and ensuring that living conditions were tolerable for residents.

By solving these issues early, MPP hopes to mitigate hazards and works towards a better standard of living in Padawan.

In a release, MPP thanked the public for their cooperation and understanding. The council urged residents to keep reporting anything that poses a threat to safety or community welfare, saying complaints would be looked at promptly.
