Batu Lintang ADUN Holds Final Mobile Service and CNY Greeting Event

Batu Lintang ADUN Holds Final Mobile Service and CNY Greeting Event

KUCHING: Batu Lintang assemblyman YB See Chee How’s service team held a busy and successful day at Siang Siang Corner, Tabuan Jaya today, combining community services with Chinese New Year (CNY) greetings.

The Batu Lintang Service Centre mobile counter ran its final session before CNY from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Residents were able to seek assistance with applications such as Senior Citizen Health Benefits (SCHB), Sarawak Basic Needs Assistance (SKAS), Higher Education Student Aid (BKK), and eligibility checks for federal SARA aid. Household monthly income certificates for undergraduates applying for RM1,200 special assistance were also signed and stamped during the session.

Adding a festive touch, YB See Chee How also distributed Chinese New Year greeting cards and oranges to the public. Residents of all ages received the gifts and had the chance to engage with the assemblyman and his team. YB See thanked the community for their participation and wished everyone a prosperous and healthy Chinese New Year.

Community leaders, including JKKK members, Penghulu Diana John, Penghulu Alex Pui, and other members of the local community, joined YB See Chee How during the event to ensure smooth operations and support residents in accessing services.

The service team reminded the public that those working or studying away from home are encouraged to bring along their parents or elderly relatives during the festive return to ensure they don’t miss out on welfare support. Post–Chinese New Year service dates will be announced later.

For more information, the public may contact See Chee How’s service team at 013-4881163 or 018-9605251, or Patrick Tan at 013-8169452 and David Chiam at 016-8631638.
