“This effort is to ensure that every need of the people is given attention and that the projects implemented have a positive impact on the residents,” he said during the Bedudun Ramadan Programme held in Kampung Bukit Kota on Saturday.

At the event, Dr Abdul Rahman approved the donation of new carpets to Surau Setia Bakti following a request from the Village Head. The contribution was made to enhance comfort for worshippers, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

He encouraged residents to continue supporting the surau through congregational prayers and Quran recitations, noting that such practices enrich the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan and strengthen community bonds.

In addition to infrastructure improvements, welfare support was also extended to the needy. The Bukit Kota State Assembly Community Service Centre presented donations to 10 asnaf families, reflecting ongoing concern for vulnerable groups in the constituency.

The initiatives highlight the government’s commitment to balancing physical development with social welfare, ensuring that both infrastructure and community needs are addressed. By focusing on projects that directly benefit residents, Bukit Kota is steadily advancing towards becoming a more comfortable and inclusive environment.

The combination of facility upgrades, religious support, and welfare assistance demonstrates a holistic approach to development, where both material and spiritual needs are considered. Local leaders expressed hope that residents will continue to play an active role in sustaining these efforts, ensuring that progress in Bukit Kota remains community-driven.
