SIBU – The Deputy Director of JPJ Sarawak, YBrs. Tuan Mohd Faizal David bin Jemat, continued his series of working visits with an engagement at the JPJ Sibu Branch on Thursday, 26 February 2026.

His arrival was warmly received by Tuan Jelapin anak Entalai, Head of the Sibu Branch, along with officers and staff who gathered to welcome the senior official.

The visit provided an opportunity for direct interaction with personnel, reinforcing the department’s commitment to maintaining strong ties between leadership and frontline staff.

During the session, Tuan Mohd Faizal conveyed the guidance and expectations of JPJ’s top management. He emphasised the importance of integrity as a cornerstone of the department’s operations, highlighting that ethical conduct is essential in delivering services that meet public expectations.

He also stressed the need to continuously improve service quality, ensuring that JPJ remains responsive to the needs of the community.

By empowering a culture of excellence, the Deputy Director encouraged staff to uphold professionalism and dedication in their daily responsibilities.

JPJ Sarawak has consistently prioritised governance and accountability, aligning with national efforts to strengthen public institutions.

The department’s initiatives focus on enhancing transparency, streamlining processes, and adopting best practices to ensure efficiency in service delivery.

The visit to Sibu reflects JPJ Sarawak’s broader strategy of engaging directly with branch offices across the state.

Such engagements allow senior management to better understand operational challenges while also motivating staff to remain committed to the department’s mission.

In recent years, JPJ has introduced several digital innovations to improve accessibility for the public, including online services for licensing and vehicle registration.

These efforts complement the department’s drive to modernise operations and reduce bureaucratic delays.

By reinforcing integrity and service excellence, JPJ Sarawak aims to strengthen public trust and ensure that its services remain at the highest standard.

The working visit in Sibu served not only as a reminder of these values but also as a platform to inspire staff to continue striving for improvement.
