The cheque was presented by Abang Ismawi Abang Ali, chairman of the Kota Samarahan Municipal Council (MPKS). The payment addressed land endowed for the rural library, securing its status and allowing the facility to keep serving the local community.

The ceremony was witnessed by Mahmud Keri, head of Kampung Tambirat Tengah. Other guests included Daily Joseph, deputy chairman of MPKS, and Sopian Bujang, chairman of the MPKS Community and Tourism Standing Committee.

The event reflected MPKS efforts to strengthen community facilities and support residents in Asajaya. Settling the land issue secures the future of the Tambirat Rural Library as a place for reading, learning, and community activities.

Rural libraries hold an important role in narrowing education gaps. They give residents access to books, learning resources, and shared spaces for study and discussion. The compensation handover shows MPKS commitment to keeping such facilities active and useful for local communities.

The ceremony also highlighted cooperation between village leaders and the municipal council. Working together allows both sides to address community needs and protect public facilities.

As part of its broader development plans, MPKS continues to focus on improving infrastructure and services across Kota Samarahan. The Tambirat Rural Library stands as one of the key efforts supporting literacy and social growth in the region.
