Community Rehabilitation Centres (PDK) across Sarawak support individuals with disabilities through training, development programmes, and social activities aimed at building confidence and independence. Events like the cooking session provide practical experience while encouraging interaction among participants.

Community leaders often view programmes combining cultural traditions and welfare activities as meaningful during Ramadan. Acts of generosity, cooperation, and shared meals reflect values closely linked with the holy month.

As Aidilfitri approaches, similar initiatives continue across Sarawak, reinforcing the importance of inclusion, community support, and festive togetherness.
