Forest Department Hosts RP2 2027 Allocation Workshop

KUCHING – The Project Development Division, working alongside the Restoration and Industrial Forestry Division, has organised the RP2 Allocation Application Workshop 2027 to strengthen the capacity of officers in handling federal development project applications.

The workshop, held on 11 March 2026, was designed to ensure participants are well-versed in applying for both new and extended allocations under the upcoming Rolling Plan 2 (RP2) of the 13th Malaysia Plan.

The emphasis was placed on compliance with current federal guidelines and the effective use of the MyProjek system, a centralised platform for monitoring and managing government projects.

The Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) of the Prime Minister’s Department delivered a detailed briefing on the MyProjek Application Module.

Officers from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment’s Development Division provided additional technical support, offering practical insights into the system’s functions.

MyProjek is widely recognised as a key tool for project planning, monitoring, and evaluation, covering phases from pre-implementation to post-completion.

It also tracks allocation disbursement and contractor payments, ensuring transparency and accountability in project delivery.

Attendees included project management officers, division heads, and representatives from the Sabah Forestry Department, who joined the session virtually.
