SUBANG – The Governor of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, together with his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi, arrived safely at the Skypark Terminal of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport at 1.30 pm on Thursday.
The couple’s arrival was marked by a formal welcome from senior Sarawak officials stationed in the capital.
Among those present were Sarawak House Liaison Officer, Encik Awang Supian Awang Daud, and Chief Protocol and Ceremonial Officer of Astana Sarawak, Tuan Haji Ahmad Zambri Shah bin Mohamad Jeman, alongside other officers on duty.
The Governor expressed his hope that the official engagements scheduled during the visit would proceed smoothly.
He prayed for the journey and activities to be blessed, stating, “May all matters during the visit be facilitated and blessed with the blessings of Allah SWT.”
The visit emphasises the value of maintaining strong ties between Sarawak and federal institutions in the capital.
