The Our Brothers Development Division has consistently worked with district offices across Sarawak to ensure that festive contributions reach those in need.

Leaders at the event highlighted that such programmes are vital in promoting inclusivity and ensuring that celebrations are shared by all members of society, regardless of financial circumstances.

Recipients expressed gratitude for the aid, noting that it helps relieve financial pressures while allowing them to embrace the festive season with greater comfort.

Organisers emphasised that the act of giving benefits both the giver and the receiver, creating a cycle of goodwill that strengthens social harmony.

The Lawas programme is part of a wider effort across Sarawak to integrate faith with social responsibility. By combining religious values with practical support, these initiatives ensure that celebrations remain meaningful, rooted in empathy and unity.

As Syawal approaches, the Aidilfitri Contribution Programme in Lawas stands as a reminder of the importance of collective care, ensuring that the joy of the festive season is shared widely within the community.
