KUCHING: The Sarawak State Astana will once again open its doors to the public in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1447H celebration. The open house will be held on 1 Syawal 1447H at the Sarawak State Astana from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.

According to a press release issued by the Private Secretary to the Ruler of Sarawak, YBhg. Dato Sri Haji Syed Hamzah bin Syed Paie, the event is organised to celebrate Aidilfitri with the people and to strengthen ties between the state leadership and the public.

The annual open house tradition reflects the spirit of unity and harmony that defines Sarawak’s multicultural society. It provides an opportunity for the people to meet state leaders in a festive and respectful setting while celebrating one of the most important occasions in the Islamic calendar.
