Shell Malaysia’s Hari Raya Celebration 2026 Strengthens Community Bonds in Sarawak

KUCHING – On the third day of Syawal, His Excellency the Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, together with his wife, Her Excellency Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi, joined the Shell Malaysia Hari Raya Celebration 2026 at Hilton Kuching.

They were accompanied by their children, Sharifah Fariah and her husband, Muhammad Syukri Mohamad Draim; and Sharifah Nong Jasima and her husband, Muhammad Nur Hakeem Yusop.

Sharifah Nuril Barieyah and her husband, David James Foley; and Tasneem, along with grandchildren Puteri Athena Maimunah and Feona Elsie Norjannah Foley.

The arrival of His Excellency the Governor and YABhg. Toh Puan was warmly received by YB Datuk Dr Hazland Abang Hipni, Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability, with his wife YBhg.

Datin Hajah Dayang Halimah binti Abang Paul and YBrs. Puan Siti Hurrairah Sulaiman, Chairman of Shell Malaysia, accompanied by her husband, Encik Fierol Sobeng.

The evening featured gamelan performances and a medley of Raya songs by local artists, adding to the festive atmosphere.

TYT Tun Pehin Sri and YABhg. Toh Puan expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the invitation and the warm hospitality extended during the event.

In his remarks, TYT Tun Pehin Sri emphasised that such celebrations should continue to serve as platforms to strengthen friendships, foster unity, and nurture a spirit of togetherness within the community, reflecting the blessings and beauty of Syawal.
