The training was designed to facilitate a smooth transition for staff from the previous 2016 version of the Anti-Corruption Management System to the updated 2025 standard.

By mastering these new requirements, DBKU aims to sharpen the competencies of its workforce, ensuring that the organisation remains at the forefront of transparent and accountable local governance.

The two-day session placed significant emphasis on the empowerment of internal audit skills. These skills serve as a critical control mechanism, enabling the city hall to better monitor compliance, manage institutional risks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

The training also touched upon robust strategies to curb risks related to corruption and the abuse of power, which are vital for maintaining public trust.
