ASAJAYA – The Asajaya District Civil Defence Force (APM) provided vital medical transport assistance yesterday to a resident of Kampung Moyan Laut who had been suffering from persistent health issues.
The emergency response was initiated following a call from a concerned member of the public who reported that a local resident had been experiencing significant pain in his right leg and abdomen for the past four days.
Recognising the urgency of the situation, the complainant contacted the APM Asajaya District Operations Control Centre for help to transport the victim to a medical facility.
Upon receiving the request, a team of APM personnel was promptly dispatched to the victim’s residence. After performing a preliminary assessment, the team carefully transported the man to the Asajaya Health Clinic (KKA), where he was handed over to medical professionals for comprehensive examination and treatment.
This mission falls under the Civil Defence Force’s “Special Services Case” (MSS) mandate, which includes providing non-emergency medical transport for those in rural or isolated areas who may lack direct access to clinical care.
The APM Asajaya team remains a key support pillar for the community, ensuring that residents can access healthcare services when they are unable to transport themselves due to illness or injury.
The agency’s proactive involvement highlights the importance of timely intervention in managing health conditions before they escalate.
