SELANGAU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Selangau team successfully handled a wildlife incident on Friday, 3 April 2026, after receiving a call from the public reporting the presence of a lizard inside a room at Rh. Donny, Stapang.
The Selangau District Operations Control Centre immediately dispatched the duty squad to the location. Upon arrival, the team discovered the reptile hiding beneath a refrigerator.
Using a safe snaring technique, APM Selangau personnel managed to capture the lizard without causing harm to the animal or endangering residents.
The operation was completed smoothly, and the situation was brought under control. No injuries or untoward incidents were reported during the operation.
