KUCHING – The Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, paid a courtesy visit to the Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, at the Sarawak State Council in Petra Jaya on 16 April.
The meeting, which lasted close to an hour, was part of a routine engagement between the state’s executive leadership and the office of the governor.
It provided an opportunity to review working papers and key agendas scheduled for discussion in the upcoming State Executive Council Meeting (MMKN).
Discussions also touched on the progress of government policy implementation and pressing issues currently affecting Sarawak.
Both leaders exchanged views on matters of governance and development, reflecting the importance of maintaining alignment between the state’s executive council and the governor’s office.
