DALAT – The Dalat District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) responded to an emergency call on 19 April 2026 following a road accident along Jalan Oya, Dalat.
The incident, categorised as a Road Accident Case (KJR), was reported by a member of the public. Echo Squad, consisting of three personnel led by Sergeant (PA) Hazli bin Rossli, was immediately deployed to the scene.
Upon arrival, the team discovered a teenage boy lying on the roadside shoulder. The victim sustained open wounds to his right knee and right hand, along with minor head injuries.
The Civil Defence team provided immediate assistance, working closely with hospital staff to administer first aid before the teenager was transferred into an ambulance for further treatment.
Officials confirmed that the intervention was carried out smoothly, with the victim stabilised before being taken for additional medical care.
The swift response highlights the readiness of APM Dalat to handle emergencies and provide crucial support in collaboration with healthcare services.
Local authorities reminded residents that the Civil Defence Force operates around the clock to respond to emergencies. The unit’s hotline, 084867357, is available 24 hours a day for urgent assistance.
