<strong>Early Morning Blaze Strikes Residential Area</strong>

SHAH ALAM: In the early hours of Thursday, June 6, a fire broke out in a two-storey house located in Seksyen 9, Shah Alam, prompting a swift response from the local fire department. The incident, reported at approximately 12:33 am, saw firefighters from the Shah Alam fire station battling flames that had engulfed the living room area on the second floor.

<strong>Swift Rescue Operation</strong>

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar confirmed the details in an official statement. “Firemen from the Shah Alam fire station were dispatched to the scene. The fire was mostly in the living room area on the second floor of the house. The house was about 30% burnt,” he said.

<strong>Victims Safe and Hospitalized</strong>

The timely intervention of the fire brigade ensured the rescue of all five occupants trapped inside the burning structure. The victims included a man in his 40s, a woman in her 30s, an Indonesian woman in her 40s, and two children aged 4 and 6. “The victims were sent to Shah Alam Hospital for treatment,” added Ahmad Mukhlis.
