The incident occurred at approximately 10.09 am when a Proton Saga MC2 lost control and veered onto the roadside.

The accident involved a 37-year-old man who was on his way to deliver medical supplies to a clinic.

Emergency responders were alerted through a call received by the APM District Operations Control Centre, prompting four members to rush to the scene.

Upon arrival, the Bravo Squad found the victim conscious but complaining of pain in his right shoulder. First aid was administered immediately to stabilise his condition before further medical assistance was arranged.

The victim was subsequently transported to the Julau District Clinic for continued treatment. Authorities confirmed that no other individuals or vehicles were involved in the incident.

APM Julau highlighted the importance of road safety, particularly for drivers travelling on rural routes such as Jalan Entabai, where road conditions can pose challenges.

Officials reminded motorists to remain cautious, especially when transporting essential supplies or travelling long distances.

The Civil Defence Force reiterated its commitment to its guiding principle of “Ready, Fast, Integrity”, ensuring that emergency responses are carried out swiftly and effectively to safeguard lives.

Residents are encouraged to contact APM Julau or dial 999 in the event of emergencies involving road accidents, medical issues, or other urgent matters requiring immediate assistance.

This case underscores the critical role of emergency responders in rural districts, where rapid intervention can make a significant difference in ensuring victims receive timely medical care.
