APM Limbang Assists Woman with Severe Stomach Pain

LIMBANG – The swift response of the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) in Limbang helped a 26-year-old woman suffering from severe stomach pain in Kampung Pemukat on Wednesday, 6 May 2026.

The Limbang District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) received an emergency call at 9.01 am from members of the public requesting immediate assistance.

Bravo Squad, led by Private (PA) Sylviana Chua and supported by three other personnel, was dispatched in ambulance CQ251.

The team arrived at the location, situated six kilometres from PKOD, within one minute of departure. Upon arrival, they found the victim lying down and unable to walk due to intense abdominal pain.

An initial medical assessment was conducted before she was transported to Limbang Hospital for further treatment.

The victim reached the hospital safely at 9.18 am, where she was handed over to medical staff for continued care. Following the successful transfer, Bravo Squad returned to PKOD at 9.27 am.

Authorities highlighted the importance of rapid response in emergency situations, noting that the efficiency of the operation reflected APM’s commitment to its guiding principles of “Ready, Fast, With Integrity”. The incident also demonstrated the value of community cooperation in reporting emergencies promptly.

The Civil Defence Force reminded residents that they should not hesitate to contact APM Limbang at 085-210471 or use the national emergency line 999 in urgent situations.

The operation concluded without complications, and the victim’s safe arrival at hospital underscored the effectiveness of APM’s emergency response system.
