KUCHING – The quick response of the Road Transport Department (JPJ) Kuching Operations Unit, specifically the Delta Team, helped prevent further danger following a self-inflicted accident involving two teenage girls under the Batu 10 flyover in Kota Padawan on Thursday, 21 May 2026.
According to JPJ, officers on routine patrol arrived promptly at the scene and immediately took control of traffic flow to ensure safety for other road users. Their swift action helped stabilise the situation and reduced the risk of additional collisions in the busy area.
At the same time, the team contacted the emergency line to request an ambulance, ensuring that medical assistance was dispatched without delay. The victims were given initial support while awaiting further treatment, reflecting JPJ’s commitment to community welfare beyond its enforcement duties.
