Authorities explained that the initiative was carried out in areas identified as crime-prone, with the roadblocks at Bintangor’s entry point designed to deter criminal activities from spreading into Meradong.
The police emphasised that such operations are part of ongoing efforts to maintain community safety and reassure residents of their commitment to law enforcement.
The Integrated Crime Prevention Operation reflects the police’s proactive approach in addressing crime and ensuring that Meradong remains a secure district.
By combining patrols, snap checks and roadblocks, the initiative demonstrates a comprehensive strategy to safeguard the public and reduce risks associated with criminal behaviour.
