Serian, July 8 – The serene town of Serian was jolted awake early this morning following a shooting incident that left three men wounded. The local police are now on a manhunt for the suspect, believed to have used a shotgun in the attack.

At approximately 1:57 am, the Padawan district police were alerted to a shooting incident that occurred behind a supermarket at Mile 19, Jalan Kuching-Serian. A 26-year-old local man reported the incident, stating that three of his friends had been shot.

Victims and Their Condition

Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered three young men, aged 24 and 25, with gunshot wounds. The victims were promptly transported to the Sarawak General Hospital where they are currently receiving medical treatment. According to Padawan district police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi, all three victims are now in stable condition.
