KUCHING, Nov 25: The Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Batu Kitang Branch has re-elected Batu Kitang assemblyman Dato Lo Khere Chiang as its chairman during the branch’s Triennial General Meeting (TGM) held on Friday, Nov 22.

This marks another term of leadership for Dato Lo, who has consistently championed the branch’s mission of serving the people and strengthening community ties.

New Leadership Line-Up for 2025-2027

The meeting also unveiled the new line-up of office bearers for the 2025-2027 term, reflecting a diverse and inclusive team of experienced leaders and fresh faces.

Key positions include:

  • Deputy Chairman: Lim Lian Kee
  • Vice Chairmen: Kapitan Bong Czin Joong and Ng Kong Phing
  • Secretary: Cr Amy Tnay Li Ping
  • Youth Chief: Alvin Chong Nyuk Fah
  • Women Chief: Doreen Chong

The full committee features individuals from various backgrounds, ensuring representation and expertise in driving the branch’s initiatives.

Dato Lo expressed his gratitude for the members’ trust, emphasizing the importance of teamwork to achieve SUPP’s objectives. He pledged to continue efforts in improving infrastructure, advocating for the community’s welfare, and fostering harmony among constituents.
