Kuching, Sarawak – Taylor Louise, an 11-year-old vocal prodigy from Kuching, has brought glory to Sarawak and Malaysia with her recent triumph at the Asia Students Arts Festival (ASAF) International Final Round. Competing in the Vocal Pop category (10-11 years), Taylor secured the Champion title on January 11, 2025, at the prestigious Y Theatre Youth Centre in Hong Kong.

Taylor was the only Malaysian finalist in her category, outshining 18 other talented participants from across Asia. Her victory is not just a personal milestone but also a moment of pride for the nation. This win earns her the opportunity to represent Malaysia at the ASAF 10th Anniversary Winner Showcase, scheduled at the Royal College of Music in London from July 31 to August 5, 2025.
