The programme was organised as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between elected representatives, community leaders, and residents in the Pujut constituency.

The event provided a platform for dialogue, allowing citizens to raise concerns, share feedback, and discuss local development priorities.

Adam Yii emphasised the importance of collaboration between the government and the community, highlighting that collective effort is essential in building a stronger and more resilient Pujut.

The session carried the theme Together for a Better Pujut, reflecting the commitment to inclusivity and shared responsibility in shaping the future of the constituency.

The gathering also underscored leaders’ role in engaging directly with the people, ensuring that grassroots voices are heard and incorporated into policy discussions.

Yii’s presence as Mayor reinforced the significance of local government in bridging communication between residents and state-level leadership.

Community members attending the session expressed appreciation for the opportunity to interact directly with their leaders.

The event also featured discussions on infrastructure, public amenities, and social welfare, aligning with the broader vision of Together We Build a Better Miri.

The initiative reflects a growing emphasis on participatory governance in Sarawak, where leaders are increasingly engaging with citizens to foster transparency and accountability.

Pujut views these sessions as crucial for tackling local challenges and promoting unity among diverse communities.

The event concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment to ongoing dialogue, with Adam Yii pledging to continue working closely with residents to ensure that development in Pujut remains people-centred and sustainable.
