Aidilfitri Ceremony Strengthens Bonds at Sarawak Islamic Complex

KUCHING – The Sarawak Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) hosted its Aidilfitri Friendly Ceremony at the Arcum Tent, Sarawak Islamic Complex Hall, bringing together leaders, officials, and community members in a festive atmosphere of unity and gratitude.

The event was marked by the attendance of several distinguished guests. Among them were the Honorable Datuk Dr. Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Junaidi, Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Regional Development Agency Project Coordinator, DBKU and Islamic Affairs), accompanied by Yang Berbahagia Datin Siti Shorgayah binti Haji Ahmad Zaidin.

Also present were Datuk Haji Misnu bin Haji Taha, President of the Sarawak Islamic Council, with Datin Hajah Jamilah binti Haji Said; Sahibus Samahah Datu Haji Khalidi bin Haji Ibrahim, Mufti of Sarawak; and Tuan Haji Mual bin Haji Suaud, Director of JAIS, with Mrs. Habsah binti Drahman.

Other notable figures included Police Commissioner Datuk Mohamad Zainal bin Haji Abdullah, Sarawak Police Commissioner; Datu Haji Awang Suhaili bin Ledi, Chief Syarie Judge of the Sarawak Sharia Justice Department; and Haji Ahmad Sukarno bin Haji Saini, Director of the Sarawak Mufti Department.
