Cases of fallen trees are not uncommon in Sarawak, particularly during periods of heavy rain and strong winds. Such incidents can pose risks to road users, disrupt traffic, and damage property if not handled promptly.

Local authorities have urged the public to remain cautious, especially when travelling along rural routes where vegetation is dense and weather conditions can change suddenly. They emphasised that reporting hazards quickly allows emergency teams to act before situations escalate.
