A team of APM personnel was promptly dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, the complainant showed them the exact spot where the beehive was located. The team then prepared the necessary equipment before beginning the removal process.

To ensure safety, the personnel used an insecticide spraying method, specifically Ridsect, to eliminate the beehive. The operation was carried out efficiently, and the area was declared safe once the nest had been destroyed. No injuries were reported during the operation.

APM Matu emphasised the importance of using proper protective gear and controlled methods when dealing with potentially dangerous insects. These precautions help protect both residents and the responding personnel.

Cases involving beehives are relatively common in Sarawak, particularly in rural areas where houses are often surrounded by vegetation. APM frequently responds to such calls to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
