MUKAH – The Civil Defence Force in Mukah responded swiftly to an emergency call on 19 April 2026 involving a locked vehicle in Kampung Hijrah Phase 1.
The incident, categorised as a Special Service (KK) case, was reported by a member of the public to the District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) Mukah.
According to officials, the car door had been locked from the inside with the key left inside, leaving the owner unable to access the vehicle.
A team from APM Mukah was immediately dispatched to the scene. Using specialised equipment, the squad successfully opened the car door without causing damage.
The operation was completed safely, and no untoward incidents occurred. Authorities confirmed that the situation at the location was secure following the intervention.
The Civil Defence Force expressed appreciation to the public for contacting them promptly, noting that such cooperation is vital in ensuring community safety.
