MUKAH – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Mukah District responded promptly to an emergency involving an elderly man on 10 February 2026.
The incident was reported by members of the public, who alerted APM that the victim was experiencing weakness in his limbs while in his living room. APM personnel quickly mobilised to the scene and provided immediate assistance.
The man was transferred onto a trolley stretcher and taken by ambulance to Mukah Hospital for further medical treatment. The operation was carried out smoothly, ensuring he received timely care.
APM Mukah emphasised its readiness to respond to emergencies at any time, highlighting its motto, “Nang Steady” and “Serving the Nation”. Residents were reminded that the APM Mukah hotline, 084-872814, is available 24 hours daily for emergency assistance.
