SARIKIEI – The Civil Defence Force (APM) Sarikei responded promptly to an emergency call regarding a fallen tree near a government building on Wednesday evening, 6 May 2026. The incident was reported at 6.59 pm, prompting immediate action from Bravo Squad.

Upon arrival, the team discovered that the tree had collapsed beside the fence of a residential property adjacent to the government building.

Concerned about potential hazards, officers quickly began cutting and clearing operations using specialised equipment designed for handling such emergencies.
