SARIKIEI – The Civil Defence Force (APM) Sarikei responded promptly to an emergency call regarding a fallen tree near a government building on Wednesday evening, 6 May 2026. The incident was reported at 6.59 pm, prompting immediate action from Bravo Squad.
Upon arrival, the team discovered that the tree had collapsed beside the fence of a residential property adjacent to the government building.
Concerned about potential hazards, officers quickly began cutting and clearing operations using specialised equipment designed for handling such emergencies.
The operation was completed safely, with the area fully cleared of debris. No injuries or property damage was reported during the incident.
Authorities confirmed that the swift response ensured the safety of residents and prevented further disruption in the vicinity.
