Police confirmed that the male suspect admitted to being involved in six separate cases between 16 April and 29 April 2026.

Further enquiries revealed that the female suspect, who is the fiancée of the male suspect, had assisted in several incidents by accompanying him to the crime scenes and helping retrieve stolen items.

Authorities recovered several items believed to have been stolen, including a Perodua Myvi vehicle, a television, a lawn mower, a chainsaw, and receipts related to the sale of aluminium and copper at local thrift stores.

Checks on the suspects’ backgrounds showed no prior criminal records. However, a urine screening test indicated that the male suspect was positive for drugs.
