KUCHING, SARAWAK – The Borneo International Consumer Expo (BICE) 2026 is set to return as Sarawak’s largest consumer exhibition, bringing together trade, culture and regional cooperation under one roof. The four-day event will take place from 29 January to 1 February 2026 at the MetroCity Convention Centre, Kuching, operating daily from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm.
Held annually, BICE has grown into more than just a buying and selling platform. It plays an important role in promoting responsible consumerism, strengthening cultural identity and supporting tourism and economic activities across the Borneo region. The opening day on 29 January 2026 will feature the Consumer Smart Slot, which focuses on educating the public about consumer rights and responsibilities. Government agencies will be involved in delivering talks and sharing practical information aimed at improving consumer awareness and literacy among the community.
On 30 January 2026, the Explore Borneo programme will take centre stage. This session will bring together business representatives from Indonesia, Brunei, Sabah and Sarawak for business sharing and networking. At the same time, it will highlight Borneo’s cultural elements as a shared regional identity and a key attraction for tourism development.
The programme continues on 31 January 2026 with the Borneo’s Star Talent Finale. This event will feature selected talents from across the Borneo region, providing a valuable platform for local artists and performers to gain regional exposure.
