On Saturday, residents gathered to receive bubur lambuk prepared and distributed by volunteers, reinforcing the values of generosity and togetherness.

Sarawak Transport Minister and Senadin State Assemblyman Lee Kim Shin attended the event and personally joined in distributing the porridge to residents of surrounding villages.

He emphasised that such initiatives not only enliven the Ramadan atmosphere but also serve as a platform to strengthen friendships across different races and religions.

“We are together in every festival, and this is our way of life. I participated in the distribution of bubur lambuk in this area, and it was distributed to everyone regardless of race. This is our uniqueness in Sarawak,” he said.
